I am writing this review a bit late, as I had stayed in Oct 2021. The resort is huge with excellent, well-appointed rooms. I stayed in a Cottage and it was huge. There is greenery all around, and lot of space to take walks and enjoy the pure air. In the night, they put up excellent lights in the walkways, corridors, and outside rooms and cottages. It looks so nice and so serene.
The service at the restaurant was good, but could have been improved. The staff could have served with a little more smile and politeness. Otherwise it was quite good.
The location is a bit off. There an unpaved, narrow road through a village to get to the resort. If the vehicles come from both sides, it may not be easy. Luckily I never encountered another car coming towards me.

I recently stayed at the property and I had a great experience except one due to some guests there.
During my stay some marriage event was going on at the property and during that time and I was amazed to see the overall decor and arrangemnets. I loved everything their specially the adventure activities as I had an unlucky day during Jeep Safari as didnt had any tiget sighting.
My only complaint was with few guests during marriage party who created undue nusance after getting drunk and the way they threatened the staff despite the main hosts were trying to calm down these drunk guests. I think drunk guests should be treated strictly despite their threat that they will write negative review on social media etc.

The Banyan retreat is a must visit property.. situated in Jim corbett. This property is serene and very peaceful... Right from the moment we entered and till the time we checked out, the experience was wonderful. From welcoming and cheerful staffs to the location of the resort, from the amenities available to arrangements made, everything was up to the mark. We hope to revisit the resort sometime in the future, possibly for a longer stay.
Kudos for the chef n his team for preparing very tasty dishes....the food was superb....The restaurant services are par excellence chef Deepak Gosain is very good very friendly and entire restaurant staff is wonderful ... I recommend everyone to experience the services of The Banyan Retreat.

I recently stayed at The Banyan Retreat Resort, and I can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. What truly stood out was the excellent staff — every single team member went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I was especially impressed by the restaurant staff - Gopal, Aman , Manu Negi and Chef Shiv Rawat they were kind, attentive, polite, and clearly took pride in their work. The food was superbly delicious. The services were amazing. A big thanks to all four of them especially to make the stay even more memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for top-notch service and a warm, welcoming environment. I can’t wait to return!

I got no idea from where to start. The place ,the staff ,the food everything was perfect and by perfect I literally mean it with all my senses.The ambience was fabulous and the staff were very friendly and considerate .The food was amazing (I could kiss the chef’s hand;chuckles) The manager was affable and helpful ,he kept a check on every guest and met their needs .He also informed us about the places we could visit .The resort has a swimming pool, spa, gym and a games room for indoor sports .The rooms were also spacious and very beautiful. One more interesting fact I got to know was that season 11 of Splitsvilla was shot here ! We were having a lot of fun with friends but the resort was surely the cherry over the cake !!

I recently discover the hidden gem through a wedding of my neighbour that is in the Banyan Retreat Resort, nestled along the beautiful Jim Corbett forest and Kosi River. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at this stunning location, and I can't praise it enough. The service provided was impeccable - the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure every guest felt welcomed and comfortable.

I had the most incredible 4-day stay at The Banyan Retreat Resort in Jim Corbett, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The buffet spread was absolutely fantastic—delicious, diverse, and perfect for every palate. The staff were incredibly humble and attentive, always going out of their way to make us feel at home. The resort was impeccably clean, with every corner exuding a sense of hygiene and care.
What made it even more special was how pet-friendly the resort is! Our furry friend felt just as welcome as we did, and that made our stay even more enjoyable. We were lucky to enjoy the DJ night and live music on the 24th and 25th of December, which was a perfect touch to our holiday experience. The bonfire under the stars created unforgettable memories with family, friends, and our pet. MUST VISIT

It is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Ram nagar. It is a sprawling and a well maintained property. Looks exactly same as in pictures. Room service, Food and ambience is perfect. The staff gives personalized attention to each guest. They also provide no onion/ garlic food once they are aware of your food preference. Both breakfast and dinner menu had a good variety and food was awesome. Pool is well maintained and tidy and there are 3 grounds. Kids can enjoy TT, carrom and there is a billiards table as well.
They provide spa/ massage service as well if required. They even had a DJ night for guests and there was bonfire all 3 days of our stay.The only drawback I found was the location which is right in the middle of the field and in interiors. We were just about to leave as we could not see the property as it is hidden by the greenery around. But, apart from this, it was a great stay that we had there. Looking forward to visit again.

We had an absolutely wonderful 2-day stay at this beautiful 5-star resort. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel extremely welcome with their warm hospitality and professional service.
The resort property is stunning, well-maintained, and offers a perfect blend of luxury and comfort. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and elegantly designed, with all modern amenities. The view and peaceful ambiance made our stay very relaxing.

Very beautiful resort the beautiful green lush lawns adds in to it ..the morning birds chirping..we went with kids got an upgrade rooms with an extra sofa cum bed so had a good spacious room ..the staff was very courteous Aliya at the reception..the resort has kept female staff too which I really like Tulsi at House keeping , Meenakshi at restaurant and others
Not to forgot Mr Shiv Rawat ( hooe name correct ) was so kind with kids
Overall service was quick
The only thing the pools towels and there should be gutter next to pool to spit
Rest all perfect ..enjoyed my stay would come back again in winters to sit in lawn and enjoy the sun

The hospitality of all the staff from front desk , room service, restaurant , swimming pool guard, security staff to housekeeping. Everyone was gentle and helpful. Just enter the elephant marker gate of this place and you will find it amazing from the reception area itself. With 6 categories of 52 rooms, 8 Cottages and 2 Luxury suites option, it's one of the best resort I have visited till now. 3 beautiful lawn areas, indoor games and a decent swimming pool keep kids hooked with this place. A very good kitchen adds value to the foodies out there in the world. Also, a wide variety of food from choose from. The staff members are well behaved and ready to serve. A must stayin place if you are going to visit Ramnagar, Jim Corbet at Nainitaal.

We recently visited The Banyan TAG resort, Jim Corbett. A majestic property very artistically designed. The staff is highly courteous and very helpful. Food is absolutely delicious. We were quite impressed by the menu options available despite low occupancy of guests during our stay. The resort is well kept. We wish to thank Mr. Prem (our server at resort restaurant) and all other resort staff for making our stay delightful. This is our 2nd visit to The Tag resort, earlier one being Tag resort, Shoghi; and we look forward to visit other resorts soon.

It's a nice cosy place with good amenities. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. We did a late check in and requested for a late checkout since the kids were enjoying the pool. They obliged even though it was peak season for them. The breakfast and dinner buffet are well spread out and cover continental, South indian and North Indian dishes. Dinner buffet had dishes from local cuisine which was a nice touch. All in all, an excellent experience. Recommended for spending a lazy day or two with family.

I have been there recently for birthday of mine.
We had a couple stay and hotel staffs made sure to make our stay so pleasant and romantic and cheerful.
We stayed for 2 days and everything was so quick and perfect they given us best birthday decorations and cake arrangements to make our days so special.
Monika Kamboj, Pooja and Pankaj Joshi have been very helpful and quick. Rest all the staff was so decent and mannered. Thanks to all the staff to make us feel so happy.
